Welcome to the California Scholarship Federation.

What is CSF?

In a nutshell, the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is a nonprofit state organization whose mission is to recognize and encourage academic achievement and community service among middle and high school students in California. Essentially, it is an honor society, of which Knight High School is proud to host a chapter. The goals of Knight CSF are to foster the recognition, motivation, and education of academically talented students, and to promote the ideal of service to their communities. Membership is voluntary (not automatic) and subject to an application process at the beginning of each semester to verify academic standing.

There are two types of members in CSF.

INACTIVE MEMBERS:  Eligible students become members by submitting applications based on their semester report card grades EACH semester.  They complete the required paperwork to qualify to graduate in gold but do not participate in CSF beyond that.

ACTIVE MEMBERS:  In addition to submitting the required paperwork to qualify to graduate in gold, these students regularly attend and participate in CSF club activities, which revolve around community service. Active member classroom code: a75lhar
